The North Vancouver School District provides a comprehensive educational program to meet the diverse needs of students. In addition to the required program defined by the Ministry of Education, the School District has a rich array of specialty programs and services offered on a district basis.

Elementary Schools: regular educational programs and services are offered in all elementary schools throughout the school district.  All elementary schools operate a K – 7 program.

A district Early French Immersion program is offered in six locations (Braemar, Cleveland, Dorothy Lynas, Larson, Ross Road and Sherwood Park) and a Late Immersion program is offered at Braemar Elementary and Boundary Elementary.

Secondary Schools: comprehensive educational programs and services are offered in all secondary schools throughout the School District.

Students in the NVSD's early French Immersion program progress from elementary to secondary with the School District's Secondary French Immersion Centres established at Argyle, Handsworth and Windsor Secondary Schools.
